It's not that I don't care, it's that I assume they will call us if there's a problem.Mama Bubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04521543145593543128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1153741448672020599.post-20060509239665173822011-11-29T15:22:08.900-06:002011-11-29T15:22:08.900-06:00When Ezra and Iris started daycare as smaller peop...When Ezra and Iris started daycare as smaller people, that first week I called maybe once a day. More for my peace of mind, really. Now I don't call at all.

When Iris was home with a nanny, J the Nanny and I would exchange texts a few times a day--quick questions here and there, or she would send me cute pictures. I loved it.khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10623440001907352150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1153741448672020599.post-33858444047402265052011-11-29T15:17:25.093-06:002011-11-29T15:17:25.093-06:00We don't use a sitter often (actually, we'...We don't use a sitter often (actually, we've never used an "official" one, just friends that we switch off with), but when we do, I don't check in. If I know my child is well taken care of (and why would I leave her with someone I don't trust?) then when I am out I enjoy myself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1153741448672020599.post-29834070822359437132011-11-29T13:45:09.202-06:002011-11-29T13:45:09.202-06:00When I am at work, I'm at work. Mostly when we have a babysitter it's for date night and we go after the kids are sleeping. Seems pointless to call and say- so are the kids still asleep or what?Elshahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01302804262020241968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1153741448672020599.post-46361121340233834932011-11-29T13:05:06.627-06:002011-11-29T13:05:06.627-06:00I managed to make it through Jackson's first f...I managed to make it through Jackson's first few weeks at day care without checking in. However the first night Chris and I left him at home with my mom, I called 3 times. I have gotten better since then.
